Hello and welcome to my happy little web home!
For those who know me well *smiles*, the graphics on this site are constantly
changing. Here you will find my pages dedicated to family and friends.
And as you can see, it is always a "work in progress"!
For all of you "baby boomers" (like me *smiles*) out there,
don't you just LOVE this web set? Thanks to Caroline of
Cosmic Handmade for these awesome graphics!
"Groovy man, just groovy!"

Hee-hee...back in the 70s I didn't have "dreads",
just long LONG hair. But I DID wear the clothes and
my first-ever car was a precious Volkswagen! I STILL
have dreams about my "Molly" (her name *smiles*), and
find myself wishing I still had that wonderful little car!

Well, Spring has arrived finally. I always wonder where the time flies off to!
It seems just like yesterday when I first created my "home site" back in 2002,
during the time of my dearly departed Mama's illness and then subsequent
passing. Back then, my site was on a "free web host" and having NO idea
how to "html", I used the handy web editor that came with my then Windows ME
computer. THAT was an interesting "trial and error" adventure, but it sure
did help me during those sad and dark days of Mama's terminal illness!

And if you're wondering where the name Scrub's House came from, well let's just
say that I decided to name my site after my precious little kitty cat, Scrub,
who gave me much comfort and "prodding" from underneath my computer desk
in the midst of all of the "creating". At that time, I didn't want to
inflict my sorrow and sadness I was going through on anyone on the web; so I
decided to be more "lighthearted" and go with the name of my wonderful kitty
who STILL to this day seems more content to be at my side and encourage me in all
my graphic/html endeavors *smiles*.

Five years have now passed since that dreadful time; more sadness has come
and gone in the interim - my little sister passed away in 2005.
But because of this wee site I have met many wonderful friends online,
have joined and then resigned from many wonderful online groups, and
have finally gotten back to my "first love" - that of web graphics creating;
i.e. pixeling. Finally, in June of 2006, I got the "nerve"
to open my graphics site - Scrub's Scribblings
and even though the "inspiration" that came with the first opening is somewhat
lacking these days - going thru a "dry spell" LOL - I still greatly enjoy
creating pixel graphics for not only profit but for fun and especially for "gifts".

I'm not sure what 2007 has in store for me, my little family, and my love of pixeling,
but I DO know that in the past 5 years I have been truly blessed with precious
friends who have encouraged me and continue to do so, especially my wonderful
"sisters"; and if 2007 has even just a little of the love and happiness
that the past years have had, then I will continue to consider myself
"blessed" *smiles*.

May you always feel blessed when you come visiting at Scrub's House which is
where, my eternal motto will be, "home is where the heart is".
